Note: This video references our prior firm name “HarnarMoll LLP” and associated website, which no longer exist. You may reach out to us anytime at www.pathwaycpagroup.com.

For real estate investors, issuing 1099 forms can be a confusing topic. Ask 3 different accountants and you'll get 5 different answers. We advise our REI clients to issue 1099 forms for one very important reason. Watch this short video to learn why real estate investors should consider issuing 1099s each year to their vendors.

Generally, 1099s are to be issued no later than January 31st of each year, unless that date falls on a Sunday or holiday.

If you are unsure about sending 1099s or who should receive a 1099, reach out to us to discuss your situation.
